Contemporary art encounters in Tromsø, Norway, began with Marita Isobel Solberg‘s performance at the Tromsø Academy of Contemporary Art and Creative Writing and ended with an introduction to the art collection at The Arctic University of Norway. We explored museums, artist-run spaces, a theater and artists’ studios including the Northern Norway Art Museum, Tromsø Kunstforening, Small Projects, Perspektivet Museum, Polar Museum, Kurant, Verdensteateret and Kysten at the Troms County Culture Centre.
