In case you missed our newsletter this week:
Yes! We’re heading to South America to experience the São Paulo Biennial for the first time ever. Here’s a bird’s eye view of our destination: Pavilhão Ciccillo Matarazzo. Architects Oscar Niemeyer and Hélio Uchôa led the team that designed the pavilion for the exhibition and named it after the biennial’s founder. Before we go, we’ll be sharing episodes recorded with biennial artists Anawana Haloba and Donna Kukama. They’re the first voices in a new series of episodes we’re producing for Contemporary And (C&), an international platform for contemporary art with African perspectives.
While we’re in São Paulo, we’ll be live streaming on Jolt Radio. Tune it for details!
